Wolwedans Boulders Camp

Situated 45 kilometers south of Wolwedans and hugged by massive granite rocks, Boulders Camp is the latest addition to the Wolwedans Collection. The main area consists of a dining and lounge tent, a breakfast deck and open fireplace. Sundowners can be enjoyed from the top of a mountainous rock plateau close by, delivering epic impressions of the vast beauty of the surroundings. From Boulders Camp you will explore the deep south of NamibRand Nature Reserve. Guided scenic drives, or two to three hour walking safaris treading along the ancient hunting grounds of the bushmen, will happily fill your days. Boulders provides a classic safari experience and the camp calls for a three night stay – ideally booked in combination with one or two nights at any of the other camps in the dunes.

Wolwedans Dunes Camp

The camp provides a more down-to-earth, yet stylish, experience. It has an unparalleled natural charm, which courts the young and more adventurous traveler.
The main tent houses a lounge, dining area and an open-plan kitchen where you can chat to the desert chef, while he prepares lavish meals. Get away for a day or two and revel in the luxury of reading, reflecting or taking walks in one of the most enchanting landscapes in Africa.  Guided activities such as scenic drives, scenic flights, hot-air ballooning and nature walks can be arranged either privately for you (at an extra charge) or to be shared with other lodge or camp guests.

Wolwedans Dunes Lodge

The Dunes Lodge is perched on top of a dune plateau, overlooking panoramic vistas in all directions and capturing the beauty of the desert in a most memorable way.
The building style is a combination of wooden structures and canvas blinds, opening up to the desert beyond. The lodge reflects the ambience of a tented camp, but provides the comfort and protection of a permanent building. The main complex – which has been completely rebuilt during 2003 – consists of two lounges, a number of sundowner decks, a fireplace, a tea deck, a library, the wine cellar and two dining rooms.  The lodge also has a swimming pool, which is suspended above the sand. All communal areas of the lodge open out onto decks with superb views. The variety of recreational space makes a visit both exciting and relaxing. Sorris Sorris Lodge

Set among dramatic piles of mesmerizingly balanced granite boulders. Sorris Sorris lodge is located above the north bank of the Ugab River midway between The Brandberg Mountain and the C35.
The lodge has a Dining area, pool, guest lounge and bar area on an elevated deck with panoramic views over the Ugab River and the Brandberg massif. Rooms and public areas connected by raised wooden walkways. PC with complimentary Internet available for guests in the main lounge area only.
