The lodge with 6 000 hectares of natural landscape offers guests one of the best Big 5 game viewing experiences in South Africa with its exclusive riverbed traversing rights. The nearby Fitzpatrick’s at Jock, offers personal service in an intimate atmosphere. Perfect for small parties and families. Each of the 3 luxurious suites are equipped with their own viewing deck, indoor or outdoor showers and guest amenities. While the dining and entertainment area offers both alfresco and indoor dining facilities allowing guests the unique opportunity to experience the gracious style of old world elegance surrounded by wilderness.

The establishment of Kambaku Safari Lodge began, as most things do, with a simple idea: that our most memorable moments are those we share with others. We believe that safaris should be family adventures. Our children’s program is aimed at educating and entertaining young minds. There is so much to see, so much to learn. Children jump at the opportunity to become certified junior rangers by the end of their stay – a worthy accomplishment for the future custodians of our precious wildlife.

Our game rangers are seasoned experts and will furnish you with all the information you need as you encounter indigenous wildlife thriving in their natural habitat. Their home will become yours.

Africa on Foot Camp

Africa on Foot offers professional Big Five walking safaris in the Kruger’s Klaserie Private Nature Reserve. The focus is on an authentic safari experience where guests enjoy a combination of walking safaris in the mornings and game drives in the afternoons. There are only 5 chalets, which means guests will enjoy an intimate, personalised safari experience. The more adventurous guests have the opportunity of sleeping under the stars in a treehouse structure at an extra cost. There are two family chalets available, each sleeping 4 people.

Thornybush Jackalberry Lodge

Serondella Lodge is set in the mid-section of 14 000 hectares of pristine African Bushveld. It is the exclusive pleasure of your hosts, a highly qualified ranger and tracker team, to take you on a journey of the soul as you experience close encounters with all that is Africa. All of this is surpassed only by the supreme intimacy, superb cuisine and absolute attention that Serondella offers by restricting the Lodge to a maximum of 8 guests. The Lodge’s 4 comfortably appointed Suites are set on a meandering Monwana tributary, each one carefully positioned to ensure privacy and stunning vistas.

Pumba Water Lodge

Pumba Water Lodge rests on the banks of the beautiful Lake Kariega, sheltered by the sub-tropical plants of the South African bushveld. The 12 stone walled, thatched chalets all feature private game viewing decks with their own plunge pools and outdoor showers, a perfect space to unwind and relax while admiring the incredible wildlife that passes the lodge on a daily basis.
 
The breathtaking scenery provides a peaceful and romantic space for couples and families to escape from chaotic city life. Pumba Water Lodge provides the perfect balance between an idyllic African safari and true 5-star luxury. Guests can enjoy an exclusive stay beside the lake, fishing for bass in the waters and venturing on exciting game drives through the Pumba Private Game Reserve. The lodge’s location within a private reserve also allows for exciting night drives where guests are more likely to encounter predators such as leopards and nocturnal species that cannot be found at any other time.

Pumba Msenge Bush Lodge

Pumba Msenge Bush Lodge offers guests an incredible safari experience in the heart of the Eastern Cape. Guests can watch passing wildlife from the comfort of their own private glass-enclosed chalet, and enjoy sweeping views of the water hole, flood plains and distant mountains. Pumba is home to an astonishing range of wildlife, including the famous Big 5, and guests can enjoy spectacular views of some of Africa’s most beautiful animals as they drink, play and interact within their natural habitat.
 
The lodge consists of 11 luxurious chalets with floor to ceiling windows. Guests can sit out on their private wooden decks, admiring extraordinary sunsets, or enjoy a refreshing dip in their private plunge pool against the backdrop of the African bushveld. Each evening, guests can come together and share exciting safari stories over the lodge’s delicious cuisine or a traditional African braai in a bush boma under the starlit sky.
