Siem Reap is the gateway to Angkor Wat with its 9th–15th centuries century temples. It attracts millions of tourists and adventure seekers each year from over the world. The reason why so many people come to Siem Reap is for Angkor Wat, the 7th wonder of the world’s biggest religious structure. Its size is breath-taking and dipped in rich historical prestige and culture. You’ll find yourself exploring the city’s heritage and countryside to sampling the vast and diverse array of local food.
Phnom Penh
Phnom Penh is the vibrant bustling capital of Cambodia. It’s situated at the confluence of three rivers, the mighty Mekong, the Bassac and the great Tonle Sap, what was once considered the ‘Gem’ of Indochina. Explore the city’s temples, palaces, national museum and the remnants of its French colonial history. Just outside the city, the The Killing Fields (Choeung Ek) are a reminder of Cambodia’s tragic past.
Koh Rong Island
These Small and famous islands are the perfect place to get away from society and unwind with your loved one. Guests can enjoy a quiet atmosphere, relaxing walks along the beautiful white sandy beaches, as well as many activities including: kayaking, cycling, diving, snorkelling and spectating the plankton etc.
Upon arrival, your guide will be waiting to transfer you to your chosen hotel.
The morning begins with a transfer to the temple of Bayon, known for the hundreds of smiling faces that grace their towers. The bas reliefs are quite impressive and tell stories of daily life and the great battles that were fought between the Khmers and ancient Thais.
Next it is on to one of the most loved temples of all – Ta Prohm. End your morning with exploring the magnificent Angkor Wat, the world’s largest religious monument. This visually spectacular temple is a massive three-tiered pyramid, rising 65 metres from the ground and crowned by five lotus towers that represent the five peaks of the sacred Mount Meru. The giant moat that stretches around the temple symbolises the oceans of the world and is more than five kilometres in length. See bas-reliefs depicting Hindu epics from the Ramayana, dancing apasara’s lining the walls and let your mind wander to days of ancient kings.
Lunch at local restaurant.
Enjoy an evening under the big top in downtown Siem Reap with an evening show at Phare, the Cambodian Circus. Run by the NGO of the same name which supports the futures of Khmer youth with art and performance training. Phare is a lively show combining elements of high flying, tight-rope walking, juggling, contortion, music and theatre circus arts in one energetic showcase of Cambodian culture. Enjoy an evening of cultural discovery for a good cause and pick up a few souvenirs on your way out.
This half day tour brings you to one Siem Reap’s best-known cooking schools, for a hands-on culinary extravaganza. Begin the class with a short trip to a nearby market, where vendors sell fragrant herbs, spices, and exotic vegetables. After purchasing your ingredients arrive at the cooking class where an expert chef will explain the basics of Khmer cuisine. After a few hours of whipping up dishes like spring rolls and traditional Khmer amok, sit down to sample your creations over lunch.
In the evening, enjoy an amazing private romantic dinner at the village with Traditional Musicians (Violinist or Roneath).

Upon arrival, your guide will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel.
Set off from your hotel into the country’s capital, starting with a visit to the Royal Palace, a stone’s throw from the Tonle Sap River. Built in 1813 the palace contains several buildings which have been used for the coronation of kings and other ceremonies. Within the grounds is the Silver Pagoda, aptly named because of the 5000 silver tiles weighing 1kg each which cover the entire floor. Head on from here to the National Museum built during 1917-1920 and housed in an elegant terracotta building, in keeping with traditional design.
Evening board a charming river boat and prepare to take in the sights of local life along the Mekong River. Watch village women carry out their household chores as children splash happily alongside them. Lookout for diminutive fishing boats and the sight of fishermen hauling in their nets after a long day on the river. Watch as the sun sets, and the sky lights up with vibrant colours making for a perfect backdrop for a spot of sightseeing. Purchase drinks and snacks on board and take in the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda and Wat Ounalom as daylight grows scarce and the bright lights of the city come alive.
