Tawi Lodge

Tawi Lodge is a tranquil, rustic lodge set in the private Tawi Conservancy. Just minutes from the Amboseli National Park it is one of the best places in Africa to see dense concentrations of elephants. This lodge boasts views of luscious grasslands, glassy swamps and watering holes as well as lying in the shadow of the towering Mount Kilimanjaro. An eco-friendly lodge that prides itself on embracing traditional African hospitality, it includes a large, authentically decorated main area with a comfortable lounge and bar. 13 rustic cottages, most with views of Kilimanjaro, are stylish yet traditional and ensuite bathrooms come complete with both a spacious shower and deep bathtub. Borana Lodge

Borana Lodge is located in the centre of the Borana Conservancy, a private conservancy created to preserve the local rhino population, it has breathtaking views of Mount Kenya and the Hyena Valley Dam and a wealth of wildlife frequents the area. An eco-friendly and sustainable lodge, Borana was built using local materials and by local craftsmen. The friendly and welcoming staff members and guides help guests to feel relaxed and at home and there is an activity suitable for all members of the family here, from horse riding, safari walks and cultural excursions to dipping in the sparkling horizon swimming pool and relaxing in the in-house spa. Borana’s location, being perched on a hillside means it can remain small and private. Laragai House

Located in the Borana Conservancy, Laragai House is a cosy family home which is exclusive and luxurious. Surrounded by luscious and colourful gardens, guests can place themselves in the very heart of the conservancy. With the house being completely at their disposal, and with a total capacity of 16 people, this house is the perfect location for large family groups or groups of friends. Highly experienced and friendly staff will personally host your stay and with the welcome of the staff and the homely feel of the house guests will relax and feel at home almost immediately. A wide range of activities are on offer from Laragai House, guests can explore the Borana Conservancy on horse, foot or paddle board and if an afternoons relaxation is what you’re looking for guests can relax with a massage or a quick dip in the swimming pool.

Ol Donyo Lodge

ol Donyo Lodge is located in the Mbirikani Group Ranch, which is 275,000 acres and owned by the local Maasai tribe. It is nestled within rolling hills, bordering the Chyulu Hills National Park and placed in between both Amboseli and Tsavo National Park. Both the landscapes and wildlife are incredibly diverse in this area, and often Africa’s tallest mountain – Mount Kilimanjaro – can be seen from the lodge. Hidden in amongst trees and bushes, each suite is unique in design, merged into the landscape and all have magnificent views of Kilimanjaro and the surrounding plains. Saruni Samburu

Saruni Samburu is an environmentally conscious lodge built around the natural features of a rock face, the lodge is designed to blend in to its surroundings, not stand out. Located in the heart of Kenya in the private Kalama Conservancy views over arid plains and rolling hills in the distance will leave guests with long-lasting memories. Guests can enjoy stunning views from a variety of places in the lodge, from a comfortable and relaxing lounge area, a specialised photographic hide or the sparkling infinity swimming pool which offers panoramic views of the African bush and Mount Kenya. Segera Retreat

Segera lies in the high grasslands of the Laikipia Plateau, in the foothills of Mount Kenya. In this Malaria-free region of Africa, guests enjoy a rich ecosystem which is host to lion, elephant, cheetah, leopard, giraffe, and endangered species such as Grevy’s Zebra, and Lelwel Hartebeest. Segera boasts six beautiful garden villas, and four exquisite houses, from the modern Segera Greenhouse to the traditional Segera House with exquisite Swahili refinements, and the renovated original Farmhouse of the former ranch at Segera.

Elewana Kifaru House

A retreat to Kifaru House is a retreat to a gorgeous bijou property set in a timeless landscape. A vibrant oasis, where the wilderness meets comfort in a sanctum of luxury and nature. Lewa House

Lewa House is a safari lodge that rests on a hilltop, overseeing the rolling hills, plunging valleys and The Scared Mountain, Mount Ololokwe. The lodge is owned by Calum and Sophie Macfarlane and has a comfortable family atmosphere. Meals are served around a large communal table and the lodge also includes a lounge area where guests can get together and swap exciting safari stories with one another. The exclusive camp consists of just three cottages and four earth pod rooms, all of which are built from natural materials and designed to blend into the landscape and maintain the natural beauty of the area.
