Spitzkoppen Lodge

The Barnard Family is honored to welcome you to Spitzkoppen Lodge. The same owners and developers of Kalahari Bush Breaks Lodge, have the privilege to share their dream come true of an exclusive destination on the edge of the Namib Desert, which started some 14 years ago. You are invited to indulge in the pleasure and passion for friendly service in a relaxed ambiance.
The lodge is situated on the northern periphery of the Spitzkoppe inselberg, between huge granite boulders, which were created more than 150 million years ago, with breath-taking views onto the Brandberg and Erongo Mountains. The stylish, private accommodation consists of 15 spacious, tastefully furnished chalets, each with a private bathroom and outside viewing deck, which connects the guest with the vast stretches of untouched sand and boulders beyond.

Neuras Wine and Wildlife Estate

Neuras Wine and Wildlife estate combines the luxury of wine tastings with natural surroundings. It offers its guests lush palm trees, natural freshwater springs and vines that sway in the desert breeze. All of this is nestled against the backdrop of the Naukluft Mountains. This desert paradise is also a place of conservation and wildlife preservation, home to cheetahs and stunning flora and fauna. Combing exclusive wines with the nature preservation is what makes this estate so unique. Guests will be able to attend wine tastings with cheese platters or bask in the conservation by getting close to cheetahs at the estate that are being protected. Kalahari Farmhouse

A lush secret-garden in the arid Kalahari. This intimate lodge has 11 chalets finished with colourful quilts, fireplaces and cosy farmhouse charm. Visit the adjacent Self-Sufficiency Centre, join a trip into the Gondwana Kalahari Park to watch the sunset over the fiery red dunes, and rest.

La Rochelle Luxury Lodge

Amidst majestic fig trees, lush gardens and meandering fresh water springs is a fine complement of Luxury and Private accommodation. The 10 000ha, game reserve is host to a variety of indigenous antelope species and bird life. Game drives and hiking on foot are popular activities amongst others. La Rochelle fits in perfectly as a one night or longer stay destination with a focus on optimum luxury, personalised hosting and relaxation. Its location and venue is ideal for intimate weddings, small functions and corporate breakaways.

Robins Camp

Robins Camp, now under private new management, offers an exciting revival of the iconic safari destination in Hwange National Park. Robins Camp is situated in the rugged northern Basalt area of the park, an area rich in natural water with seeps and springs dotting the area. It is the home to some of the last great buffalo herds in Africa, with herds of over 2000 still seen. Given the abundance of prey animals, it is no wonder that it also has the highest concentration of lion in the Park. Robins is also known for big populations of reedbuck, roan, sable and tsessebe as well as the usual herds of elephants and other species encountered in the Park. Particularly encouraging are the regular sightings of both Cheetah and Painted Dog. The scenery of Robins is varied with hills, kopjes (small bouldered hills) and vlei (grassed plains that flood seasonally) areas and has a lot to offer the wildlife enthusiast. We welcome children of all ages and guests can self-drive or choose a fully guided trip.

Sable Sands

Sable Sands Lodge overlooks the ancient riverbed of the famous “Dete Vlei” and is located within a private Forestry Concession on the outskirts of the unfenced and world-famous Hwange National Park. Conveniently located 8km from the Hwange National Park and 200km from Victoria Falls, Sable Sands offers easy access to these African gems. This ‘off the grid’ eco friendly safari lodge is owner and family managed and has steadily established a great reputation for their personalised and bespoke experience complete with a passionate team, homely food and exceptional elephant encounters. Comprising of sixteen spacious and open-plan thatched ‘rondavels’, simply yet elegantly furnished to create a blend of traditional culture, nature and modern convenience, this African Forest “home-away-from-home” welcomes guests to an exquisite safari setting in unspoilt surroundings.

Vundu Camp

Vundu Camp stands along the banks of the Zambezi River, half-hidden amongst a cluster of ebony and tamarind trees that offer both shade and a sense of privacy. Due to its riverside location, Vundu Camp is closed over the rainy season (December to April) when the riverbanks flood. The camp lies within a private concession within Mana Pools National Park, giving guests exclusive front row seats to exciting wildlife viewing from the comfort of the camp itself. The eight thatched chalets provide a luxurious setting for relaxing and waiting for the incredible local wildlife to come to you. Each room has a lounge area and outdoor seating that overlooks the tranquil waters of the Zambezi River, where guests can look out for hippos and crocodiles. Vundu Camp is also home to a number of wild dogs (also known as painted wolves) and the camp’s owners, Nick and Desiree Murray, worked alongside Sir David Attenborough for BBC’s Earth Dynasties painted wolf episode – shot at Vundu Camp.

Kapamba Bushcamp

Set on the banks of the shallow, spring-fed eponymous river, Kapamba is surrounded by some of Africa’s richest wildlife. Kapamba Bushcamp’s four stone chalets each showcase a wall that consists of a spider-web design of metal latticework, giving guests amazing views of the Kapamba River. Guests can watch the frequent wild visitors of the river from the multi-level main deck, or from the ease of their own private verandas or pool-size bathtubs. Watching an elephant bathe in the river can be quite an experience when you’re lounging in your own private plunge pool. Sundowners in the river and bush dinners are both popular additions to the itinerary for Kapamba stays. The bushcamp allows guests the opportunity to experience once-in-a-lifetime game drives and safari walks, encountering a wealth of wildlife and countless species.

Ursula’s Homestead

Ursula’s Homestead is a cosy retreat – elegant, relaxed and intimate. Location here is everything. Looking onto Victoria Falls Private Game Reserve and with the Falls themselves just 15 minutes away, Africa is waiting for you. This charming homestead, of just four individual garden Rooms, is the sister property of Stanley & Livingstone Boutique Hotel and in keeping with a classic Victoria Falls experience. The main guest area and terrace, fire pit, pool area, and the rooms are all set in a semi-circle to take in wide-open views of the natural reserve. It’s an environment of peace and tranquillity, while being just minutes from the world-famous Falls, busy town and surrounding attractions. The Concierge is always on hand to assist.

Muchenje Safari Lodge

Resting high on an escarpment, Muchenje Safari Lodge rests within the Chobe Forest Reserve, on the quieter western side of Chobe National Park. There are no fences or boundaries between the park and reserve, meaning that the wildlife can roam freely, and guests can enjoy amazing viewing opportunities from the comfort of their own private cottage. The thatched chalets overlook the Chobe River and its beautiful floodplains, where you may see Chobe’s famous elephant herds drinking from the water. Sit out on your private balcony and enjoy the sweeping landscape from a bird’s eye view.
