Asanja Moru

Tucked away in a sea of grass, amidst Rocky Islands known as the Moru Kopjes, Asanja Moru is an exotic, luxury-tented camp that the transports one to the bygone era where the Maasai once ruled the wide-open plains of the Serengeti. Located in the southern central of Serengeti, on the path of the migration, which is one of the ten natural wonders of the world. The Kopjes rising from the plains provide ample shade for the prides of lion that spend most of the day lazing about. Due to the presence of water, this is a good area of game viewing through out the year. The Masai also left their mark in the Serengeti in the form of Rock Art, which can still be seen at the Masai Kopjes. Dunia Camp

Pitched on a major wildebeest migration corridor in the Central Serengeti, Dunia Camp offers easy access to the scenic Moru Kopjes and superb sightings of the big cats, leopard and rhino that roam the forests on the fringes of the Seronera River. Dunia is a tranquil semi-permanent camp with just eight spacious tented suites, each with expansive views of the pristine wilderness and game-filled plains from a private veranda. Attention to every detail balances a graceful simplicity in harmony with the serene location. Enjoy an exclusive Serengeti safari with superb sightings of resident game and annual migration viewing, and round it all off with a sunrise hot-air balloon flight.

Little Chem Chem

Little Chem Chem lies out the outskirts of a lush acacia forest, overlooking the tranquil waters of Lake Burunge. The camp’s position within its own private concession, adjacent to the Tarangire National Park, means that guests can look forward to abundant wildlife sightings, including the large volume of elephants within the local area. With towering baobabs scattered around the camp, the meandering Tarangire River, and the backdrop of the striking Babati mountain range, you will be able to enjoy endless beautiful views in a peaceful and relaxing environment. Enjoy exclusive game drives in the private concession, and look out for lions, cheetahs and leopards as they laze in the warm sunshine. Little Chem Chem consists of 6 luxurious vintage tents and guests are free to enjoy a private and personal safari experience, or to gather around the campfire at night, making new friends and swapping exciting safari stories over a glass of wine.

Lemala Nanyukie

Lemala Nanyukie is a recent addition to Lemala’s collection of luxury safari camps, having opened in late 2018. The camp has been designed with modern facilities, its luxurious decor combines with a contemporary safari aesthetic to create a stylish yet comfortable home away from home. The 15 tented suites are situated just outside of the Seronera circuit, overlooking the sweeping savannah grasslands and rocky outcrops where big cats laze on sunny afternoons. Guests can also expect to see herds of wildebeest passing through and grazing within the camp’s grounds during the Great Migration. Between April and June, and November and January, you will be able to enjoy a front-row seat for witnessing this incredible annual parade of wildebeest, zebra and gazelles.

Kati Kati Tented Camp

The camp offers comfortable accommodation and a unique opportunity to enjoy a real safari camp experience. The camp is only a two hour scenic drive from Olduvai Gorge Museum and Grumeti River. A cosy mess tent islocated in the centre of the camp where meals are served. The campfire is ready every evening for appetizers and snacks before dinner. Ten double tents and one family tent with en suite facilities. There are several airstrips in the National Park that receive schedule flights from Arusha as well as charter flights.

Mbali Mbali Soroi Serengeti

Situated within the Western Corridor of the famous Serengeti National Park, Mbali Mbali Soroi Serengeti rests atop a plateau that overlooks the Musabi Plains. The 25 thatched safari rooms combine authentic safari design with a modern aesthetic, offering guests a light and airy home away from home, with large windows and a spacious verandah from which the magnificent views of endless plains can be enjoyed. The lodge’s main decked area consists of a refreshing swimming pool, restaurant and fireplace, where guests can interact or simply relax and soak in the tranquil atmosphere. Mbali Mbali Soroi Serengeti’s location amongst the hilltop acacia trees, allows the lodge to blend into the natural environment so as not to distract from the sweeping landscape.

Roving Bushtops Central Serengeti

Roving Bushtops is a unique mobile camp within the Serengeti region that travels from Kusini in Southern Serengeti to Seronera in Central Serengeti. The mobile camp consists of 8 luxury tents with walls that can be opened on three sides to provide sweeping views of the ever-changing landscape. The portable nature of the Roving Bushtops means that travellers can get the most out of their safari experience and enjoy a return visit with the same friendly and familiar faces, but in a completely new location. All of the tents are packed into a mobile unit called the Rover. The non-permanent nature of the camp causes minimal disruption to the surrounding wildlife and leaves no lasting impact on the environment. Guests can enjoy a comfortable stay on king-size beds and with 24-hour butler service. Enjoy refreshing drinks at the lodge’s bar after a thrilling game drive, and immerse yourself in the diverse and magnificent natural wonders that Tanzania has to offer.

Serengeti Safari Camp Central

Serengeti Safari Camp Central is a mobile camp that travels across the plains of Serengeti so that guests can follow the migration herds and enjoy the best possible game viewing year-round. One of the first of Greater Serengeti’s mobile safari camps, Serengeti Safari Camp Central packs up and moves to a new location 4-5 every 2-3 months. Guests are unable to stay at the camp while it is moving, however, you can enjoy revisiting this friendly home-away-from-home with guides who hold a collective 200 years of experience between them, while being able to experience a fresh stay in a completely new landscape. The camp is focused on being both environmentally friendly and comfortable, with eco flush loos and safari bucket showers as well as plush double beds within your Meru-style tents. Enjoy a relaxing stay, surrounded by natural beauty and rich wildlife viewing.

Mbali Mbali Mahale

Mbali Mbali Mahale sits on a stretch of sheltered golden beach, deep in the heart of the African interior. Boasting a backdrop formed by the dramatic Mahale Mountain range, and the crystal clear waters of Lake Tanganyika in the foreground, this secluded and romantic hideaway is the perfect blend of relaxation and luxury. Each well-appointed Beach tent has been strategically positioned to offer guests privacy, while still allowing easy access to the beach and communal areas. Each Beach Tent is on a raised platform; delivers 24-hour electricity and hot and cold running water. The tents provide self-contained mosquito nets around the beds and bathroom. The primary activity in the park is chimpanzee trekking, carefully monitored so as to reduce human impact on the famous habituated M-Group chimps. Take a gentle boat safari on the lake, or opt for a fishing excursion, where you may encounter crocodile, hippo and otter as well as an abundance of birdlife. Kayaks are available for exploring the lake at your leisure, or you may choose to simply stretch out under one of the salas on the beach, while the gentle lapping of the lake lulls you into an afternoon siesta.

Lake Masek Tented Lodge

Lake Masek Tented Lodge is situated in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, overlooking Lake Masek. The unique location is witness to the wildebeest migration which takes place from December to April each year. There is resident Big 5 game all year round in the area. The camp is Eco friendly, all the electric power is supplied by solar panels and water is collected during the rainy season. All the products used are biodegradable in order to ensure that the environment is kept pristine. Guest accommodations feature 30 luxury tents with en suite facilities and either king sized beds, twins or triple beds. Each tent is built on a raised wooden platform with a veranda from which guests can observe the wildlife visiting Lake Masek. The bedroom area is ample and tastefully furnished. The bathroom area with twin washbasins, a standalone bath and an outside shower is separated from the bedroom area by way of a screen. Guests can enjoy a relaxing bath or take a shower under the stars.
