The Elegant Desert Eco Camp

Surrounded by the majestic Tsaris Mountains, flat gravel plains and inselbergs in the Namib Desert and situated only 45km from Sesriem, the gate to Sossusvlei is The Elegant Desert Eco Camp!
Comprising of 10 individual en-suite tents in harmony with nature, this secluded little Eco Camp offers guests a world of vast spaces, endless horizons and rugged mountain heights. The utter tranquility and extraordinary clarity of light make this area one of Africa’s most compelling landscapes.
Custom build 85 sqm Canvas Tents envelope guests in pure privacy, complete with an outside viewing deck, an indoor and outdoor shower, spacious bathroom and a Mini Bar provided by the Elegant Desert Lodge in the form of a cool box. The Rock Pool on top of the mountain with a large sun downer deck offers the most exquisite views and scenery.

Hoanib Skeleton Coast Camp

The name “Skeleton Coast” conjures up romantic images of desolate beauty, and proudly remote Hoanib in the Kaokoveld does not disappoint. The dry bed of the Hoanib River supports a thin green ribbon of vegetation and the wild beaches of the Atlantic coast are within reach, with their noisy seal colonies and eerily quiet shipwreck remnants.
Eight large en-suite tents (including one family unit) and the main area provide shady viewpoints, while nature drives into the surrounding area reveal a wealth of desert-adapted wildlife. Desert-adapted lion and brown hyaena may also be glimpsed in this vast but far from lifeless landscape.
INSIDER’S TIP: On a stay of three nights or more, a coastal excursion to The Skeleton Coast is included. Usually involving a drive down to the coast and a flight back to camp, to see such a diverse area both on the ground and in the air.

Skeleton Coast Shipwreck Lodge

Located in the remote wilderness of the famous Skeleton Coast National Park, between the Hoanib and Huarusib rivers, is Shipwreck Lodge. This unique location promises to be the epitome of exclusivity and privacy. Opened in June 2018, the design has been inspired by the multiple shipwrecks which are scattered along the vast expanse of the coastline. Each distinctive cabin is designed to resemble a shipwreck, in keeping with the theme of this property. With views of the Atlantic Ocean stretching out to the horizon from each cabin, guests can enjoy the revitalizing energy of a fresh sea breeze alongside these sensational, undisturbed views. Guests who stay here have the opportunity to learn about the flora and fauna that has adapted to survive these desert conditions, and will feel completely comfortable despite the heat, enjoying the restaurant deck as well as a choice of 8 twin cabins and 2 family cabins. A stay here is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to discover an undisturbed and protected part of Namibia.

Doro Nawas Camp

Twyfelfontein Adventure Camp

Among the rolling boulders of an ancient granite outcrop, Twyfelfontein Adventure Camp is a secluded, intimate camp in the deserts of Damaraland, untainted by modernity. The camp is unfenced and close to a watering hole, so animals wander freely. There’s no better place to get back to the basics and reconnect with nature’s simple majesty. With only 12 tents, the camp has a very cosy, yet open and airy feel. Only a short distance away are the Twyfelfontein Rock Engravings, the Damara Living Museum and the Huab River Valley.
