Ila Safari Lodge

Ila Safari Lodge is located in the wilds of Kafue National Park, one of Zambia’s most unexplored treasures. The camp is eco-friendly, with an emphasis on sustainable practices, the buildings use sustainable and locally sourced materials and the meals are prepared with fresh ingredients from the local farm. There are four luxury canvas tents which offer guests privacy and exclusivity, with expansive private decking in front of the tents and stunning views over the sparkling Kafue River. The tents are luxury and authentic, with a traditional safari feel blending seamlessly with modern decor and features. Ideally situated for exploration of the untouched surroundings, guests can enjoy game drives, guided walks, a spot of fishing or a relaxing cruise down the river at sunset. KaingU Safari Lodge

Located just on the edge of Kafue National Park, KaingU Safari Lodge sits near the bank of the Kafue River. In the heart of this unexplored wilderness lies the lodge, built with the desire to blend into their surroundings and with eco-friendly materials and methods. With only 7 chalets, this camp is private and exclusive and offers guests unique experiences of the untouched beauty of the surroundings. The chalets are all comfortable, with a traditional safari feel whilst also including all home comforts, and a unique outdoor shower. The main area of the lodge acts as the central hub of KaingU, it is here fresh, delicious meals, prepared with local ingredients are served and drinks around the fire pit, under the starry sky, can be enjoyed in the evening.

Mukambi Safari Lodge

Located on the banks of the Kafue River Mukambi Safari Lodge is sat on the border of the diverse Kafue National Park. The camp is authentic – guests will be able to gain a traditional safari experience – staying in the heart of the wilds of Zambia. Guests can chose to stay in a thatched chalet, a luxury riverside villa or a luxury safari tent, all of which are comfortable and authentic, with cosy home touches, ensuite bathrooms and private decking areas. The rooms all face the Kafue River so guests can enjoy the beautiful views from the comfort of their own bed. Meals are served in the main dining room where guests can enjoy relaxing on the sofas or around the boma, with a drink from the bar. The camp is ideally located for exploration of the Kafue National Park where guests can enjoy game excursions, walking safaris and unique boat safaris along the Kafue River at sunset. Chundukwa River Lodge

Chundukwa River Lodge sits on the banks of the Zambezi River, close by Livingstone. It is primely located, close enough to enjoy all the activities surrounding Victoria Falls, but far enough away to be quiet and intimate, with few tourists. The lodge is authentic and comfortable. Guests can stay in one of the chalets, which are perfect for honeymooning couples, or the 3 bedroomed cottage, perfect for families or a group of friends. The rooms are all welcoming and warm, with traditional African art, rugs, and wooden furniture and features. There are home touches throughout the lodge, with softly glowing lamps, draped mosquito netting around the beds and a communal dining area. Guests can spend the day exploring the peaceful gardens of the lodge, or can set off on a day of adventure of the surrounding area.

Little Makalolo Camp

A charming, intimate camp in the south-east of Hwange, “Little Mak” features prominently on the mental maps of local wildlife, all drawn to its reliable waterhole. A log-pile hide affords unique, thrilling close-up views of elephants, and habitat diversity ensures year-round wildlife. Activities focus on game drives and morning nature walks. The many waterholes produce amazing sightings, or guests can relax in camp and wait for wildlife to come to them. The six spacious en-suite tents (including a family tent) are only surpassed in the experience stakes by the opportunity to sleep out at the Madison Pan star bed.

Linkwasha Camp

Linkwasha Camp lies in a private concession near the Ngamo Plains in Hwange National Park. Hwange is known for its prolific summer or green season game viewing, and Linkwasha adds an extra dimension during the dry season, when wildlife streams to drink from the pan immediately in front of the camp. Nine luxurious en-suite tents (eight twin and one family) make this the most exclusive of Hwange’s camps. The multi-level main area shares the same unimpeded views, and day and night safaris in open 4×4 vehicles, walks and village visits let guests get to know their neighbours, both animal and human.

Royal Chundu Zambezi Island Lodge

Royal Chundu Zambezi Island Lodge is private and exclusive, located on Katombora Island, surrounded by the flowing rapids of the Zambezi River. The lodge is authentic and luxury, and with only four lodge suites the lodge always feels quiet. Rooms have traditional thatch roofs, and floor to ceiling doors which allow bright light to fill the space and afford exceptional views of the Zambezi from the comfort of the king size bed. Authentic touches have been added through the wooden furniture and blue feature textiles, which have been created by local seamstresses. The location of the lodge is ideal, guests will be immersed in wild nature however a short trip will take them to the magnificent Victoria Falls. With no shortage of activities to choose from, guests can spend time on a boat safari, canoe down the river, day trip around the falls or explore Katombora Island on foot; this is the perfect place for adventure seekers and laid-back travellers alike.

Robins Camp

Robins Camp, now under private new management, offers an exciting revival of the iconic safari destination in Hwange National Park. Robins Camp is situated in the rugged northern Basalt area of the park, an area rich in natural water with seeps and springs dotting the area. It is the home to some of the last great buffalo herds in Africa, with herds of over 2000 still seen. Given the abundance of prey animals, it is no wonder that it also has the highest concentration of lion in the Park. Robins is also known for big populations of reedbuck, roan, sable and tsessebe as well as the usual herds of elephants and other species encountered in the Park. Particularly encouraging are the regular sightings of both Cheetah and Painted Dog. The scenery of Robins is varied with hills, kopjes (small bouldered hills) and vlei (grassed plains that flood seasonally) areas and has a lot to offer the wildlife enthusiast. We welcome children of all ages and guests can self-drive or choose a fully guided trip.

Sable Sands

Sable Sands Lodge overlooks the ancient riverbed of the famous “Dete Vlei” and is located within a private Forestry Concession on the outskirts of the unfenced and world-famous Hwange National Park. Conveniently located 8km from the Hwange National Park and 200km from Victoria Falls, Sable Sands offers easy access to these African gems.
