Pumba Msenge Bush Lodge

Pumba Msenge Bush Lodge offers guests an incredible safari experience in the heart of the Eastern Cape. Guests can watch passing wildlife from the comfort of their own private glass-enclosed chalet, and enjoy sweeping views of the water hole, flood plains and distant mountains. Pumba is home to an astonishing range of wildlife, including the famous Big 5, and guests can enjoy spectacular views of some of Africa’s most beautiful animals as they drink, play and interact within their natural habitat.
 
The lodge consists of 11 luxurious chalets with floor to ceiling windows. Guests can sit out on their private wooden decks, admiring extraordinary sunsets, or enjoy a refreshing dip in their private plunge pool against the backdrop of the African bushveld. Each evening, guests can come together and share exciting safari stories over the lodge’s delicious cuisine or a traditional African braai in a bush boma under the starlit sky.

Shamwari Sindile Camp

Shamwari Sindile Camp is a luxury safari camp where guests can experience the magic of the South African bushveld and immerse themselves in the brilliant nature of the Eastern Cape. The secluded camp rests in the heart of Shamwari Private Game Reserve, overlooking the tranquil waters of Bushman’s River and the sweeping grasslands. The camp is made up of 9 tented suites, with luxury amenities including king-size beds, an en-suite bathroom with panoramic views and sliding doors that lead out to your private viewing deck. Sindile Camp offers unique explorations of the surrounding environment, with exciting game drives, bush walks and birding.

Shamwari Long Lee Manor

Shamwari Long Lee Manor lies nestled on the banks of the meandering Bushmans River. The Edwardian-style manor house was originally built in 1910 and features beautifully landscaped gardens, with viewing decks and a large rim-flow pool that offer stunning panoramic views of the exquisite grounds and the sweeping plains beyond, abundant with thriving wildlife.
Long Lee Manor has been part of the Shamwari Private Game Reserve for over a hundred years, watching over the plains with an air of grace and grandeur. The magnificent main building is built with classic pillars and stone steps leading down to the extended swimming pool with sun loungers where guests can enjoy a refreshing beverage from the fully-stocked bar. Recently restored, the manor has been tastefully decorated to reflect its heritage and location, offering an opulent place to rest and admire the amazing flora and fauna of the endless wilderness.

Shamwari Riverdene

Shamwari Riverdene is a family-friendly safari lodge, set in the diverse landscape of the Shamwari Private Game Reserve where guests can find an abundance of incredible wildlife including the famous Big 5. The 9 luxury rooms are laid out in their own little village, creating a small community of like-minded travellers. With a toddler play area and children’s adventure zone, Riverdene Lodge is the ideal setting for families to explore the rich wilderness of the Eastern Cape. Children can experience fun safari activities and learn about their favourite animals in the Kids Club, as well as enjoy hours of entertainment in the outdoor playground, complete with climbing frames, mini watchtowers and a trampoline.
At the heart of the lodge, parents can enjoy quality time together in the open-plan lounge, either cuddled up by the crackling fireplace or enjoying the sweeping landscape views from the viewing deck, with a tasty beverage from the fully-stocked bar.

Shamwari Sarili

Shamwari Sarili is a private lodge where guests can exist in harmony with nature and wildlife roams the landscape, located in the heart of the Eastern Cape. The private game reserve is home to vast herds of wildlife – including Africa’s Big 5, various species of birdlife – some of which are endemic to the Eastern Cape, and incredible ecological diversity. The private lodge overlooks the grassy plains and stunning Bushman’s River, and is perfect for groups of up to 10 people, featuring 5 luxurious en-suite rooms, a lounge with a cosy fireplace, and personal staff to attend to your needs including a house manager, private chef and dedicated ranger. Gorah Elephant Camp rests in the only private concession within the renowned Addo Elephant National Park. Here, guests can experience the incomparable thrill of quietly observing a passing herd of elephants while receiving 5-star treatment in the comfort of a stately colonial manor house. This exclusive safari lodge consists of 11 spacious tented suites beneath thatched canopies, each with private decks, a living area and an en-suite bathroom.

Kariega Main Lodge

Main Lodge (4-star) offers families, friends and couples a relaxed and friendly environment to enjoy the African bush. All the log chalets are air-conditioned, with en-suite bedrooms, large private viewing decks and some with private pools. Each has a spacious lounge and living area which is great for socializing before retreating to the privacy and comfort of your bedroom. The lodge has been expertly integrated with the surrounding bush to create a natural environment where guests can enjoy traditional meals in the restaurant or boma, a drink at the bar or a quiet swim in the pool. Spa treatments on offer in the new Wellness Centre. A daily children’s programme is available.

Kariega Homestead

Located in a remote part of Kariega Private Game Reserve, Kariega Homestead offers an exclusive experience for families or groups of friends who are looking to stay in their own private safari lodge. The Homestead consists of seven luxurious en-suite rooms, a lounge and dining room, a bar and entertainment area, kitchen, laundry room and play area. Guests can enjoy delicious meals whipped up by their own private chef, and embark on exciting game drives with a private ranger and guide. Sibuya River Camp

A fascinating 11km boat-ride up the Estuary from the seaside village of Kenton-on-Sea brings you to the jetty at River Camp. Only four spacious luxury en-suite tents skilfully hidden in the riverine forest maximize privacy for each tent and ensure an exclusive and personalised experience. Every tent has its own cosy fireplace to ensure a snuggly warm environment on chillier nights. Professional and passionate staff ensure a time to be spoilt and make memories to treasure. The Camp recommended for families with children visiting Sibuya. These enormous 75 m2 tents with sleeper couches that convert to two single beds for children sharing, ensure plenty of space for the whole family.

Kwandwe Ecca Lodge

Ecca Lodge rests in the Kwandwe Private Game Reserve, overlooking breathtakingly beautiful scenery and a dense valley of verdant trees, rich flora and incredible wildlife. Nestled amongst the treetops, the six wood and glass suites offer stunning panoramic views featuring an escarpment of steep shale cliffs. With light and airy atmospheres, stylish interiors and wraparound decks – complete with private plunge pools and outdoor showers, guests can enjoy a luxurious stay in the heart of the tranquil wilderness.
 
The family suites include a private vehicle and ranger, and are perfectly suited for 2 adults and 2 children, with two day-beds in the lounge for guests under 16. The lodge is intimate, relaxed and trendy with décor inspired by the vibrant colours and textures of our nearby villages.
