Delta Camp

Delta Camp is situated on the western edge of Chief’s Island, deep in the heart of the Okavango, set in the forest of a large, beautiful and palm-studded island bordering the Moremi Game Reserve. The camp is accessible via light aircraft only. Upon arrival, you are met at the airstrip by your personal guide and warmly welcomed to the island – remaining your private guide for the duration of your stay. Accommodation is comprised of spacious lethaka reed chalets with en-suite bathrooms, built of natural materials and elevated off the forest floor, each chalet has hot and cold running water, a shower with a view and solar-powered electric lighting.

Kwando Splash Camp

Splash Camp is situated in the heart of the Okavango Delta, within the Private Kwara Reserve. The area has long been known as Splash due to the huge water crossings that had to be traversed to access the main camp area. The Private Kwara Reserve shares a 30km water boundary with the infamous Moremi Game Reserve, and its unique location boasts both permanent water and seasonal flood plains, as well as extensive dry bush wilderness. Favoured by labyrinths of permanent water channels and secret islands, this area offers the quintessential delta experience, and is considered to be amongst the best in Botswana for game viewing and safari oriented activities. Splash’s décor is contemporary yet simple, and in keeping with the Kwando Safaris’ philosophy of being immersed in nature, all the rooms are open to the sights and sounds of the wilderness.

Little Mombo

Little Mombo is an extension of and shares the same island as the larger sister camp – Mombo Camp. Matching its high standards in every regard. It offers the same abundance of big game viewing, some of the best in Botswana, overlooking a floodplain that is a beautiful setting for a variety of wildlife. The camp, built under a shady canopy, has four luxurious and spacious tented accommodations, each with en-suite facilities, outdoor shower and individual sala. Little Mombo has its own dining area, kitchen, lounge and plunge pool, making it ideal for small, private groups, while a spa, gym and lap pool lies between the two camps. Activities include morning and afternoon game drives in open 4×4 vehicles to view the high concentrations of plains game and their predators, which include all the big cats.

Oddballs’ Enclave Camp

Oddballs’ Enclave is a small, secluded off-shoot of one of the Okavango’s most revered travel destination, set on the same beautiful island and with spectacular views over the floodplains and old-growth forest of the islands fringe. With just five elevated ‘mini-meru’ walk-in tents, with a preference of double or dethatched beds, Enclave is the perfect venue for small groups, families, and those seeking an intimate atmosphere in which to luxuriate in one of the world’s most beautiful settings. The Enclave is on a small island just off the south-western edge of Chief’s Island, deep in the heart of the Okavango, and bordering Moremi Game Reserve.

Setari Camp

Setari Camp is an intimate and airy camp that offers the quintessential Okavango safari experience. Located within the 120,000-acre private Jakotsha Concession northwest of the world-renown Moremi Game Reserve on a palm fringed island in the central Okavango, there are few places in Northern Botswana that benefit from the same bountiful and consistent game sightings as Setari Camp. A total of 10 tented units, comprising standard, family and wheelchair accessible suites make up the total accommodation, with a maximum 20 guest capacity. Xaxaba Mobile Camp is an intimate and exclusive Delta Safari retreat that utilises the encompassing environment to its maximum potential to offer a responsible safari experience at reasonable rates.
