andBeyond Lake Manyara Tree Lodge

andBeyond Lake Manyara Tree Lodge is the only permanent safari lodge within the Lake Manyara National Park. The lodge rests among the tops of ancient mahogany trees, blending into the natural landscape and taking advantage of the cool and fresh air under the canopy of leaves. The 10 stilted treehouses allow guests to take in the elevated forest views while elephants pass beneath them, and watch tree-climbing lions as they scale the mahogany trunks to lounge in the surrounding branches. Each treehouse, crafted from local materials, features modern furnishings and a spacious bathroom, complete with a large freestanding tub for enjoying a relaxing soak in these tranquil surroundings.

Clouds Mountain Gorilla Lodge

Clouds Mountain Gorilla Lodge is Uganda’s highest lodge, resting over 2,000 metres above sea level and offering guests a view of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest from above cloud level. Guests can enjoy the spectacular views from their own cottages, built from volcanic stone and furnished in a comfortable yet elegant manner, with hand-woven carpets and plush armchairs. Each cottage features a lounge area, where guests can snuggle up beside a roaring fireplace and admire the amazing views of treetops, volcanoes and mountains. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is located in southwest Uganda, sprawling across the hillsides at the edge of the Rift Valley. The Impenetrable Forest has stood for over 25,000 years and features approximately 400 different species of plants and over 300 different tree types.

Governors’ Camp

Governors’ Camp is a Silver Eco award-winning and pristinely located camp in the heart of the Maasai Mara. The nearby waters of the Mara River flourish with animals and birds, and game graze freely around the camp. bringing the essence of the Mara right to the doorstep. Despite all the comforts of a luxury hotel, Governors’ Camp shelters its visitors entirely under canvas for that authentic safari feel, with views ranging from the Mara River to the Mara plains. This Camp was created in 1972 and was the first permanent tented camp in the Maasai Mara, paving the path that many others would later follow. Though the Governors Camp Collection has expanded greatly over the last 40 years, Governors’ Camp is still one of Africa’s very best and was listed in Travel+Leisure as one of the top 10 safari lodges in Africa for 2020. andBeyond Phinda Vlei Lodge

Fringing the reserve’s wildlife-rich wetland system, along the edge of a rare sand forest, the vibrant and intimate andBeyond Phinda Vlei Lodge offers a tranquil oasis in the middle of flourishing wilderness. This charming lodge features just six thatched suites to ensure exclusivity. Phinda Vlei’s is inspired by the elegant, turn of the century, plantation-style homesteads of KwaZulu-Natal’s sugarcane and pineapple barons. Each air conditioned suite features a spacious room, luxurious ensuite bathroom, and dressing room. The ensuite bathroom provides a sense of old world luxury, while the suite’s interiors showcase a mix of curated antiques and collectables. Guests can also take advantage of a private lap pool and game viewing deck that overlooks a grassy meadow, where they can observe antelope grazing nearby, as well as a variety of birdlife.
