Walk lush forest trails, swim in translucent blue waters and explore subterranean caves at this 12-acre reserve, locally known as Tom Moore’s Jungle, named after the Irish poet who favoured the area for writing. Along the trails you’ll see mangroves, several bird species and natural swimming grottoes like the famous Blue Hole, part of Blue Hole Park, which is located within Walsingham Nature Reserve. Before leaving, pay a visit to Bermuda’s oldest restaurant, Tom Moore’s Tavern – housed in a 17th-century estate at the edge of the reserve.
Walk the well-manicured grounds of Fort Hamilton and catch panoramic views of Hamilton Harbour from the walls of this Victorian-era stone garrison. Today, the moat has been transformed into a lush garden, and visitors can explore from the upper battlements to the underground passages and dungeons.

Just below the pool deck, you’ll find one of Bermuda’s famous pink beaches. The inviting turquoise blue water along the resort’s edge gently breaks on the rose-coloured sand. On the beach you can stroll along the sands, wade in the calm waters, or join the brilliantly coloured parrot fish as you snorkel along the magical reef that protects The Loren’s beaches.
