St James’s Club is spread across a secluded 100-acre peninsula on the south eastern coast of Antigua. Due to its naturally hot location there are two stunning beaches to unwind on and guests can take to the waters and try out water sports too. St James’s Club is just 30 minutes away from the airport.

St James’s club offers a unique choice of guest rooms, suites and villas to choose from. All feature private terraces and contemporary furnishings that match with the natural surroundings. Royal suites are adults only and are recommended for those on a honeymoon. Villas can accommodate up to 8 guests and each have dining areas, lounge chairs and an outdoor area to unwind in. Beachfront Rooms

Beachfront rooms are the most spacious of all the guest room options and provide direct access to Coco Beach as they are located on the ground floor. They each feature 2 double beds, a shower, bathtub and choice of adjoining rooms. Private terraces allow for stunning views of the beach right on your doorstep whilst rooms on the top floor feature a king size bed, an extra-large shower and a private balcony. Other amenities include air conditioning, ceiling fans, a coffee/tea maker, an in-room safe and double sinks. Guests can also enjoy daily housekeeping and complimentary toiletries as well as wake up calls.

Royal Suites

Adults-only royal suites act as a private resort within the resort itself. Being all-inclusive, they have their own check-in area and private access to a quiet adults-only pool area. Each suite is situated on split-level accommodation, offering a sunken living room, floor to ceiling windows and a private furnished balcony with panoramic views of the Mamora Bay. The bathroom has his-and-hers showers as well as a deep-soaking bathtub. Other features include complimentary Wi-Fi, a refrigerator, a king size bed, air conditioning and a flat screen TV. Amenities also include an in-room safe, complimentary toiletries, a coffee/ tea maker, daily housekeeping, a hairdryer and wake up calls.

Two Bedroom Villa

These villas are perfect for families and groups who enjoy space due to being split between two or three levels. Each villa has its own living room space, a full kitchen, a large balcony or patio overlooking Mamora Bay and the bedrooms each have direct access to a separate downstairs patio through sliding-glass door. The master bedroom has a king size bed and a private bathroom with both a shower and bathtub. The second bedroom has twin beds and also has a private bathroom. Other amenities include a hairdryer, complimentary toiletries, air conditioning, a ceiling fan and an in-room safe. Other features include daily housekeeping, a flat screen TV in each room, an ironing board and wake up calls.

Rainbow Garden

Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the Rainbow Garden is an airy indoor dining area with a spacious wrap-around patio. Casual breakfast and lunch offers buffet-style and a la carte dining and dinner is an extensive menu on offer 7 days a week. The restaurant also hosts internationally-themed buffet evenings.

Mamora Bay Café

This coffee house is located close to the lobby and is built into the treetops, offering a shaded area for guests to relax in throughout the day. Guests can choose from coffees, smoothies, teas and pastries at this café and there is an artist’s exhibition area located next to it, where local arts and crafts are on display and available for purchase.

Piccolo Mondo

Guests can indulge in Italian cuisine against the backdrop of stunning views of the hillside. It is a romantic and intimate setting to enjoy a meal and the menu ranges from grilled catch of the day to saffron risotto.

Coco Beach Restaurant and Bar

This spot offers guests al fresco dining on an upper deck, providing beautiful sea views and an ocean breeze to take in. A selection of locally-inspired dishes are on offer for authentic Antiguan dining and many of the dining options are served on sharing plates; perfect for families and groups who want to try a variety of Caribbean dishes. There is also a variety of wine, beer, cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages available at the bar.

The Docksider

Located right on the water’s edge, The Docksider offers views of Mamora Bay and specialises in Caribbean-inspired dishes. Freshly-caught seafood and buffets take centre stage and forms of entertainment such as steel band music can be enjoyed from this spot.

Eleven/11

Open from 11am until 11pm, this restaurant offers ocean views and a sea breeze atmosphere for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The menu offers salads, soups, burgers, pastas and other nightly specials as well as tropical cocktails being available alongside rum punch.

Mamora Bay Grill

Situated on the beach, guests can enjoy grilled food and light lunches until 6pm. This is the perfect spot to admire the beach without being too far away from it.

Lounges and Bars

St James’s Club has distinct lounges and bars for guests to enjoy and all are included in the all-inclusive plan. Reef Deck Bar offers cocktails pool-side and the three beach bars; Mamora Bay Bar, Coco Beach Bar and The Royal Pool Bar all serve rum punch and more. The Jacaranda Bar and Lounge hosts nightly entertainment and cocktails between 6pm and 11pm in an air-conditioned venue and then becomes a nightclub until 1am on select nights. A beach cart with soda, rum, beer and other refreshments is also available to guests at Coco Beach during the day.

Spa and Wellness

St James’s Club has its very own Tranquillity Body and Soul Spa surrounded by French doors that let in light and stunning views. Guests can have treatments for both the body and skin such as massages, face therapy and salon services surrounded by natural elements such as sea grass, wood and rattan. There is also a serenity deck at the spa where couples can unwind and the Tahitian-inspired treatment rooms that overlook the tranquil Mamora Bay are sure to relax any guest.

Water Sports

At St James’s Club, guests are welcome to explore the ocean and what lies beneath it with a host of activities and sports to try. Guests can swim, dive and snorkel below the water and witness the vibrant sea life that the Caribbean is home to and those who want to try an adrenaline-filled activity can try surfing, windsurfing, kayaking and sailing. Lessons are available for each of these sports. For those who want to explore the ocean without getting in the water there are also Catamaran and Marine tours to enjoy all from the comfort of a deck.

Land Activities

The resort is home to its own tennis centre with four large courts that light up as night falls. Guests can also try billiards, pickle ball and golf at the resort and there is an 18-hole golf course with stunning views of the hilltops to take in as you play. St James’s club also has a 3,700 square foot state-of-the-art fitness centre open between 6am and 11pm with cardio equipment, weight machines and free weights available. Floor to ceiling windows overlook the resort’s gardens and there is also an outdoor yoga pavilion that offers classes to guests.

Kids Club

Situated in the heart of the resort and overlooking Coco’s Beach, those travelling as a family are welcome to bring children to the kids club. There is a fenced play area, games area and a kids menu available for both lunch and dinner. Children between the ages of 4 and 12 are welcome at the kids club and there is a wide variety of toys, movies and games to enjoy, all located next to the main pool of the resort.

Experienced staff run classes throughout the week such as art classes, swimming and nature trails. Seasonal themed programmes are to be enjoyed at Halloween, Christmas and Easter and parents are welcome to accompany their kids at the club or leave them inn safe hands while they unwind.

Beaches and Pool

St James’s Club offers two idyllic beaches to explore; Mamora Bay and Coco Beach. Both allow guests to relax or play and non-motorised sports are available to try. Palm trees have been carefully planted to provide shade from the hot sun, where guests can simply admire the views of the Caribbean. The resort also has six pools across the island; Reef Deck Pool, Children’s Pool, Tiered Pool, Coco’s Pool and Royal Suite Waterfall where there are two more pools. Each has a distinct atmosphere and are located next to restaurants so that guests never have to be far from the comforts of the resort.

Eco Tours

St James’s Club and Resort offers guests a number of different tours that allow them to experience the natural beauty of the island and of the Caribbean. Guests can go diving and snorkelling alongside an array of fish and witness the water’s ecosystem and they can also take eco tours across the island.

Non-motorised Water Sports

The club and resort has a wide variety of water sports available for guests to take part in during their stay and each of these are non-motorised sports. Diving, snorkelling, kayaking and surfing are just a few of the activities for guests to try. This lowers the resort’s carbon footprint whilst not compromising on a guest’s experience.
