Ramons Village Resort, Belize

Belize is a beautiful nation, and one of the best places to highlight this beauty is San Pedro. With a variety of nature, beautiful beaches, and Caribbean oceans all on your doorstep, it is a beautiful location. Ramon’s Village is a sanctuary nestled in a tropical garden of Royal Palms, bougainvillea, lilies, hibiscus and dozens of other types of tropical flora. Surrounded by the plant life are Mayan sculptures that provide a glimpse of the civilisation that preceded us in this Caribbean paradise.

  • Breathtaking beach location
  • Luxury onsite facilities
  • Great in-room amenities
  • A number of adventures at your doorstep
  • Enjoy tropical bar and restaurant experiences

Styled after the Tahitian cottages on the Polynesian island of Bora Bora, our cabanas are built from native materials by craftsmen utilising the same skill and techniques the islanders used in the days of the great sailing ships. Ramon’s Village is a sanctuary nestled in a tropical garden of Royal Palms, bougainvillea, lilies, hibiscus and dozens of other types of tropical flora. Surrounded by the plant life are Mayan sculptures that provide a glimpse of the civilization that preceded us in this Caribbean paradise. Once inside our enchanted village, you’ll be in a world of your own choosing.

Beachfront

Located directly on the beach, you’ll enjoy beautiful views of the Caribbean Sea and the Belize Barrier Reef.  Individual and two story palm thatched cabanas provide an assortment of rooms and suites for every need. Rooms available are the Presidential Suite, Grand Suite, Mini Suite, Guest Suite, Honeymoon Cabana and Beachfront King.

Seaside

These cabanas are located just steps from the beach with views of the lush tropical gardens, the Caribbean Sea and the Belize Barrier Reef.  Enjoy the seclusion and modern amenities provided by this group of individual and two story palm thatched cabanas. These rooms include the Seaside Deluxe and Seaside Standard rooms.

Jungle

Nothing at Ramon’s Village is far from the water’s edge. Manicured sand pathways leading through lush tropical gardens create a private setting for these cabanas. Rooms available here are the Jungle Standard, Jungle Deluxe, Jungle Standard/Deluxe Family and Jungle Mini.

Steve & Becky's

Situated just across the street from Ramon’s Village is the sister property Steve & Becky’s. This lushly landscaped property is set in a breathtaking garden of hibiscus, crotons, orchids. Steve & Becky’s features ten cottages arranged around a central courtyard with a pool in the centre. In contrast to the palm thatched cabanas at Ramon’s, these cottages are constructed to resemble a British Colonial cottage with brightly painted exteriors. Each room features Saltillo tile floors, mixed Belizean Hardwood ceilings, and private baths with tub/shower units and two queen beds which sleep four people.

Pineapples On The Beach is the on-site restaurant and is, without question, the best place to eat on the island of Ambergris Caye! The breakfast, lunch and dinner menus all have a wide variety of selections to choose from, in addition to the daily specials. Pineapples is right on the beach and is open air, where the view of the Caribbean Sea is in full focus. Located poolside at Ramon’s Village, Tropic Al’s offers a dazzling selection of fruit smoothies and gourmet coffee selections that will please even the most discriminating beverage critics.

Of course, there is aso plenty to do off-site. Diving is a large attraction to the area, with a number of scuba trips and courses to try while you stay. Popular scuba areas include Shark Ray Alley, Mexico Rocks and Coral Gardens. Or perhaps, for a more laidback experience, simply make the most of a beautiful beach and relax by the ocean. Belize has set aside vast areas of natural forest as sanctuaries for birds, monkeys, jaguar and even the crocodile, making a trip down the river an unbelievable experience that offers rare photographic opportunities to see river life in their natural environments.
