Bar Bleu serves as Bel Ombre’s favourite beach bar. By day, guests can relax at the poolside or on the beach itself, with handcrafted cocktails and/or pizza for company. In the afternoon, crepes become available for you to indulge in and in the evening, entertainment is added to the roster to spice up the night.

Situated adjacent to the resort’s pool and offering stunning views of the Indian Ocean, you can enjoy all-day favourites at Edgewater, including a wide vegan selection and our ice cream assortments by day. At night, Mauritian dishes and Eurasian-inspired cuisine fill our menus, allowing you to try something local or stick with some old favourites. Off to the side, our Willes’ Rum & Crab Shack menu is littered with items with a Creole touch, perfect for sharing with your friends and family as you bury your feet in the sand.

An lively international food market, Mercado allows guests to interact with the chefs at various live cooking stations, with cuisines from Europe, the Mediterranean, Asia, and India all being represented somewhere in the market. Fortunately, there are mineral sunscreens that reflect the sun’s rays using ingredients like zinc oxide or titanium dioxide. We’ve been making these types of “reef-safe” sunscreens available to our resort guests since 2014.”
