Longji Star Wish Hotel
Star-wish Resort is a traditional Zhuang style building with traditional values that strives to hold onto the cultural essence from the surrounding area. This five story house is built with sturdy brick through traditional and sustainable methods, and in so doing encapsulating the feel of staying in an old Chinese guesthouse. In keeping with local architectural features, it’s decorated with solid wood which adds further to a memorable stay.

The resort is 100km from the nearest International Airport, 45 minute walk from the Longji Zhuang Village and only a short walk from the renowned viewpoint of “Seven Stars with the Moon”. It is located inside the Longji Terraces Scenic Area, at an altitude of over 800 metres, providing picturesque views of natural scenery. The Longji Zhuang Village is a 45 minute walk from the resort which guests can venture to and explore the culture that resides here.

Here you have the option of 2 dining rooms in Star-wish; Grandma’s Kitchen and Rooftop Grill. They offer tasty Western\Chinese Food, local specialties, delicious vegetarian food and home-made wine and drinks. Enjoy freshly prepared dishes from the extensive menu which offers a breakfast buffet for all guests to indulge on. There is also have a DIY kitchen where guests can use it to cook themselves or to learn Chinese cuisine from the experienced chef.
Guests can take a trip to Ping’an Village to enjoy the rice terraces and learn about the many traditions of Zhuang Minority in Guangxi. Discover the three storyed architecture buildings within the village that Zhuang people have settled in for hundreds of years. The local residents wear exquisite clothes with Zhuang features and live in a pristine life throughout many generations and visitors can become acquainted with the Zhuang culture by meeting the local people and visiting their houses. You can also hike up to the rice terraces by hiking to the two main viewpoints to see the natural scenic views or take part in the 3 Day Rice Terraces Hiking Tour which is a private tour taking visitors around the different sets of rice terraces.
Take part in the ‘Off the Beaten Track Yangshuo Tour, a private tour showing visitors some of the highlights that can only be seen off the beaten track as well as seeing attractions within Yangshuo. During the tour you will have the opportunity to hike along the Li River whilst hiking along the river banks, visit the Da-Mian Mountain located on the banks of the Li River and witness the stunning views overlooking Yangshuo, the Li River and Karst scenery. The tour will also take you to the Yulong Valley, Yangshuo’s most picturesque valley where you can visit the Yulong River and observe the towering Karst Mountains.
This private tour will take visitors to see the traditional old towns in and around Yangshuo where you will explore two of Yangshuo’s famous Old Towns at Huangyao in Hezhou and Jiuxian Ancient Town in the Yangshuo countryside. Huangyao Ancient Town is in the Yangshuo countryside which features traditional buildings, cobblestone alleyways and old houses. Jiuxian Ancient Town is a small town located in the Yulong Valley which visitors can also discover during the tourwhich features the Yulong River, surrounded by towering Karst mountains.
