The lodge features 16 rooms that offer territorial views of the village or terrace views over the magnificent surrounding rice terraces below. The rooms are well insulated, equipped with air conditioning, hot water shower, international direct dialling, drinkable tap water and laundry service. Each of the rooms is designed with a distinct theme with matching objects on display in the room, accompanied by detailed explanations of the treasured pieces on display, telling the history and folk customs behind it.

Ping’an Rice Terraces is one of three terraced fields of Longsheng Rice Terraces alongisde Jinkeng Rice Terraces and the Longji Ancient Zhuang Rice Terraces. The best seasons to visit these rice terraces are during April through to late October where visitors can observe beautiful views from the two main viewpoints: Nine Dragons and Five Tigers and Seven Stars around the Moon. The first viewpoint, Nine Dragons and Five Tigers, is the highest place within the rice terraces where there is a four storey building around which there are restaurants and snack shops for visitors to explore.

Experience the adrenaline rushing through your body as you go rafting around the Guilin Area along the Longjing River. The river runs through the Yangshuo National Forest Park, giving you the opportunity to raft through the valley, explore the mountains, and hike through the forest. Pass through 108 bends during your rafting experience as you soak in the natural beauty of the landscape that surrounds you, feeling relaxed and refreshed floating along the river. There will be many lifeguards along the section for rafting for your safety and included in this experience are helmets and life jackets.

Located in Licheng District, Jinan City, Longji Mountain covers a total area of more than 16 000 acres and consists of 6 areas: the Buddhist Cultural Area, Ecological Flower Sea Area, Fruit Picking Area, Jungle Adventure Area, Outdoor Sports Area, and the Leisure Resort Area. The scenic area around the mountain has the largest terraced lavender area, sitting among the green mountains and there are also a number of species of exotic flowers and plants for travellers to observe. There is also the Guanyin Cave that rarely forms within the upper area of the mountain in which there are many stalactites that have different shapes and look vivid.

Longji Li-an Lodge also supports community-run and locally owned businesses, encourages people to eat in locally owned restaurants and order local drinks and produce to support the local area. Handmade crafts and locally produced souvenirs are available to purchase during a visit to the lodge as this helps to support the community initiatives.

Longji Li-an Lodge is conscious of sustainable travel and does what it can to provide this. Waste is recycled at the lodge, plastic is reduced by using reusable water bottles and offering drinks without the use of a plastic straw and there is a policy for reusing sheets and towels if guests wish to do so as this saves on the amount of water used. The lodge also takes part in energy conservation by reminding guests to turn off lights and electrical equipment in rooms when not in use as this saves energy.

The lodge is committed to preserve nature in the surrounding environment and encourages people to help as much as they can as even the smallest act can have a large positive impact. There are paths in national parks and nature reserves that protect the environment when used by visitors as this avoids disturbing animals and prevents natural habitats from being damaged.
