Spectacled Bear Project
The ITA and the SERNANP associations manage the Inkaterra Machu Picchu Spectacled Bear Project. A project focused on nurturing bears who have suffered at the face of the human footprint and helps them recover and reintegrate back into the natural world. The spectacled bear is an endangered species that is at risk of extinction within intervention from wildlife conservation organisations.
