Upon arrival Bangkok Airport, meet our guide and take a private transfer with guide from Bangkok Airport to hotel in Bangkok. Check in and free time at leisure.
For a night of romantic dining on the water, Bangkok’s Manohra Rice Barge Dinner Cruise is one of the best in the city. Boarding near the downtown area, the Manohra takes you past some of Bangkok’s most iconic sights while drifting slowly along the mighty Chao Phraya River. Look out the long-standing Mandarin Oriental and the Shangri-La hotel, Wat Arun. The Temple of Dawn and the Grand Palace, with your camera at the ready. These temples shine particularly bright after dark – quite literally – as spotlights on the ground illuminate them brilliantly, casting a colourful reflection across the river.
The cruise sets off at 19.30 from their very own private pier. The night’s cruise turns around up the river after dinner, heading back in the same direction for a mid-evening arrival. Onwards transportation is then waiting to take you back from the Manohra pier back to your hotel of choice.

Today explore the fascinating Rattanakosin District, considered the most historically significant area in all of Bangkok. Your journey begins within a kaleidoscope of colour at a local flower market, and with a hands-on lesson about how Buddhist locals use the lotus flower to worship Buddha. From the flower market, your guide points out the nearby Memorial Bridge and Temple, a commanding structure that shows King Rama I seated on a pedestal overlooking his prior kingdom.
By car, set off from the flower market and arrive at the Grand Palace, a must-see icon of the city. Home to the Emerald Buddha, the Grand Palace is a striking example of traditional Thai architecture and considered one of the holiest locations in the entire country! Explore the temples and buildings within the complex alongside your guide, and learn about the history and story of this Bangkok gem.
After lunch at a charming boutique restaurant by the river with magnificent view of Wat Arun, walk to nearby Wat Pho, home of the reclining Buddha. After a visit here, set off by car to Giant Swing, the gateway to the Baan Bat community. The creation of alms bowls – an important handicraft for Thailand’s Buddhist residents – has sustained much of the community here, and a wander through the area is a front-row seat to witness how they are made. Chat with the locals here with the help of your guide before kicking back for a one-hour foot massage in a traditional Thai house – a well-earned treat after an eventful day!
Transfer to King Power Mahanakhon Building – Thailand’s tallest building towering above Bangkok’s iconic skyline. Ascend to the 78th floor to the outdoor observation area, Thailand’s highest, located a chilling 314 metres above ground level. Enjoy spectacular 360-degree panoramic views over Bangkok from both indoor and outdoor viewing areas. A must-see attraction in the heart of the city! After relishing in the incredible views, transfer back to your hotel.

After breakfast. Private transfer with guide from your hotel in Bangkok to Bangkok Airport and take flight to Phuket – Air ticket not included.
Upon arrival to Phuket Airport, transfer approx 2h30m to Khao Sok. Check in and have a free day at your leisure.
4.00PM, join Khao Sok River by canoe. The lifeblood of the jungle, rivers wind their way beneath the canopy of the forest and create a path where no footsteps travel. Buoyed by the waters of the Sok River and dwarfed by the sheer limestone cliffs and dense jungle, it’s easy to feel at one with nature. The river’s steady current provides the perfect pace at which to view the wonders of the forest via canoe. This isn’t a fast-paced exercise; the excitement emerges from the surrounding jungle in the form of stunning scenery and wild animals. Exotic birds, monkeys and even sleeping snakes await the astute eye.
Canoes carry two people along with the local guide, who skilfully paddle with the guides down the river. A short stop halfway – which varies depending on the season – sees guides prepare tea and coffee over an open fire. Using a bamboo stem to boil the water, this is a hot beverage with a difference; the sweet tang of bamboo creates a taste like no other!
Back on the water, there is a final chance to spot wildlife, take photos or simply relax and enjoy the picturesque jungle; there’s no better way to explore the Sok River!

After breakfast, join a full day Cheow Lam Lake boat trip. One of Khao Sok National Park’s hidden gems, Cheow Lan Lake is a pristine body of water where natural beauty exudes. Also known as Ratchaprabha Dam, it spans an incredible 165 km and is the heart and soul of the jungle.
A popular tourist attraction, the lake delivers a number of options for travellers who want to explore its inviting waters. Day trips allow ample time to explore the water’s wonders; visit a raft house where you will have time to swim and relax or rent a kayak and explore the lake’s beautiful surroundings.
In addition, travellers can trek around the lake’s peripheries along local trails to discover hidden waterfalls and caves – or for those with a love adrenaline, rock climbing is also available.

After breakfast, join a couple hours Elephant experience. Traditionally, elephants have played an important role in Thai culture. For centuries they were captured and trained to drag logs in the forests, but as machinery began to replace them, they became a popular attraction offering rides to tourists. Many of the elephant camps that offer rides keep their animals in poor conditions, chained up for hours while the special chairs that are used to carry tourists cause permanent injuries to their backs.
At Anurak Community Lodge, we do not support animal cruelty in any shape or form and strictly do not work with elephant camps that offer regular elephant rides using these chairs. During our ethical Elephant Experience we take a different approach by providing guests the chance to interact with these gentle giants directly; helping the mahouts -elephant handlers, to feed them their favourite snacks and bathe them in the river before taking a stroll through the palm tree plantations and back to their grassy paddock for another fresh-fruit snack.
