Morning begins with a Tuk Tuk transfer to the temple of Bayon, known for the hundreds of stone carved smiling faces that grace the towers as you enter. The bas reliefs are quite impressive and represent the stories of daily life and the great battles that were fought between the Khmers and ancient Thais. Continue the tour onto one of the most beloved temples in all of Cambodia – Ta Prohm. End your morning exploring the magnificent Angkor Wat, the world’s largest religious monument. This visually spectacular temple is a massive three-tiered pyramid, rising 65 metres from the ground and crowned by five lotus towers that represent the five peaks of the sacred Mount Meru. The giant moat that stretches around the temple symbolises the oceans of the world and is more than five kilometres in length. See bas-reliefs depicting Hindu epics and let your mind wander to days of ancient kings, when these historic temples were first constructed. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

Delight in an evening spent with your family under the big top in downtown Siem Reap, witnessing an evening show at Phare, the Cambodian Circus. Run by the NGO of the same name which supports the futures of Khmer youth with art and performance training, Phare is a lively show combining elements of high flying, tight-rope walking, juggling, contortion, music and theatre circus arts in one energetic showcase of Cambodian culture. Enjoy an evening of cultural discovery for a good cause and pick up a few souvenirs on your way out.

Travel a short distance from Siem Reap to the Angkor Temple Complex for a thrilling day of zip lining through the jungle canopy. Your adventure starts with a quick safety briefing as you are helped into your harness and protective helmet, then it’s a short walk up to the first platform and off you go! It takes a couple of hours to navigate the course and there are professional instructors to help guide you along the way. We recommend that you wear comfortable clothing and proper footwear such as sport shoes. This is a great day out for both kids and adults alike! Break for some lunch served in a local restaurant.

Begin the afternoon at a ceramics workshop, that will start with a briefing and introduction about the craft of ceramic making. Participants will learn the process from start to finish and gain a deeper understanding of the techniques, materials and tools needed before your very own piece to take away. With guided support from the hearing-impaired tutors, spend a couple of hours creating a masterpiece.  The experienced teachers have developed a series of hand gestures to allow communication without language and are highly skilled at the potter’s wheel. Participants will receive their finished piece of pottery within 24 hours.

This wonderfully creative afternoon will allow participants to try their hand at traditional ceramic making whilst gain insight into Cambodian life.

Enjoy your final full day in the region of Siem Reap at your own leisure and spend some quality time with your family.

Your guide will meet you at your hotel and transfer you to the airport for your flight – Siem Reap to Sihanouk Ville (K6) One-Way Economy.

Upon arrival, your driver will be waiting to transfer you to Sihanouk Ville peir, then take a speedboat to Koh Rong Island where you will stay for the next three nights.

Spend day six and seven discovering the island and relaxing at your own leisure.

This morning you will transfer by boat back to Sihanouk Ville pier. Our driver will be waiting there to welcome you and transfer to Phnom Penh airport for your departure flight.

Note: We would recommend you to book evening flight as the transfer from Sihanouk Ville to Phnom Penh airport often takes around 6-7 hours base don traffic conditions.

Set off from your hotel into the country’s capital, starting with a visit to the Royal Palace, a stone’s throw from the Tonle Sap River. Built in 1813 the palace contains several buildings which have been used for the coronation of kings and other ceremonies. Within the grounds is the Silver Pagoda, aptly named because of the 5000 silver tiles weighing 1kg each which cover the entire floor. Head on from here to the National Museum built during 1917-1920 and housed in an elegant terracotta building, in keeping with traditional design

In the evening, board a charming river boat and prepare to take in the sights of local life along the Mekong River. Watch village women carry out their household chores as children splash happily alongside them. Lookout for diminutive fishing boats and the sight of fishermen hauling in their nets after a long day on the river. Watch as the sun sets, and the sky lights up with vibrant colours making for a perfect backdrop for a spot of sightseeing. Purchase drinks and snacks on board and take in the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda and Wat Ounalom as daylight grows scarce and the bright lights of the city come alive. This is the perfect way to see the sights of Phnom Penh away from the bustle crowds and a memorable way of ending your Cambodian holiday.

On the last day your guide will meet you at your hotel and transfer you to the airport for your final flight.
