The Santa Lucia hotel was built in 1859 by the governor of the province, Don Manuel Vega Dávila. The house remained in the hands of the Vega family for more than one hundred years, and during this time its walls witnessed events and very important moments in the history of the region. In 1999 the hotel went under renovation and they rescued the architecture of this beautiful house as a sample of traditional housing from the 19th century, incorporating elements of comfort from our days without interfere with the taste of times gone by.
