Bay Cottage offers the best of two locations, a plush garden oasis plus close proximity to Long Bay Beach and Breezes Beach Bar & Restaurant. This cottage welcomes guests in a large garden setting with lush trees, entering into a smaller garden with outdoor table and chairs near the main entrance, offering a view of Long Bay.
The interior features a living room with fireplace, as well as two bedrooms. The master bedroom with king size bed (or two twin beds if requested), has an en-suite bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower plus dressing room. The second bedroom with king size bed (or two twin beds if requested), has a separate bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower. Both bedrooms have French doors that open up to covered brick patios and open terraces providing chaise lounges and outdoor furniture – stretching out from the cottage is a public walkway down to Long Bay Beach.

In the evening, the beach transforms into an extension of the Breezes restaurant – also offering candle light dinners several yards down the beach for complete privacy. Turtle Cove is a secluded cove, perfect for serenity and snorkelling. This beach is not serviced however sits across from Shutters, so it is very easy for staff to provide food and beverage service once called. This beach is a popular spot for candle light dinners.
Morning Beach is the ‘zen’ beach, which leads down from the pool deck. With the sounds of the water falling from Cambridge Beaches infinity pool and waterfall, this beach is the perfect place to read a book and still receive the service of Shutters and pool staff. Perfect for those that still want a beach experience – though a more refined beach one.
Pegem Beach is another secluded and non-serviced beach, mainly used by guests staying in the cottages that surround it. Pegem is a perfect place for reflection, this beach is across from Morning Beach. An array of other coves and islands around Cambridge Beaches peninsular are not accessible by land, but you will have the opportunity to rent a kayak or motor boat from H2O sports to easily find and access them.
Since its opening by Princess Margaret in 1984, this spot has been a showcase for local artists and artisans and an excellent place to see the island’s works. Exhibits, which change frequently, include media such as water colours, oils and photography. You can also visit the Craft Market – this is the island’s largest, most extensive craft outlet, with more than 60 friendly local artists ready to show their craftwork to visitors.
