Raiatea Lodge Hotel sits on the west coast of Raiatea, also known as the Sacred Isle. Raiatea is found north of Tahiti in the Leeward archipelago and is the spiritual home of the first people to settle French Polynesia. The island was also the centre of mass migration to other islands, including Tahiti, and as far as New Zealand.

To reach Raiatea, you need to take an international flight to Faa’a International Airport in Tahiti before catching a domestic flight to Raiatea. The Raiatea Lodge Hotel is accessed via a shuttle service organised by the hotel from the nearby airport in Uturoa.

The lodge is roughly 10 minutes away from the centre of Uturoa and is a short drive away from most shops and attractions along the main island road.

Raiatea Lodge Hotel is the ideal Polynesian retreat. Just 10-minutes from Raiatea’s main town Utuora and across the road from the beach, Raiatea Lodge Hotel is a warm and welcoming environment to rest and relax.

The charming colonial building’s first floor and garden bungalows in the grounds form the hotel accommodation, with space provided for single travellers, couples and family groups. Each of the rooms come with air conditioning, wifi and private balconies where you can sit and enjoy the gardens or gaze out over the lagoon.

The hotel’s facilities include free wifi in all locations, an outdoor pool, shuttle service to the airport on Raiatea (for an additional cost) and parking (subject to availability). The hotel also offers additional equipment for many of their activities, especially water sports such as snorkelling and kayaking.

Standard Room

The standard room at Raiatea Lodge Hotel is a light and airy room found on the first floor of the main building. The rooms come with a soft double bed and private balcony with views sweeping the tropical gardens or hotel pool below. The elegant teak furniture and soothing neutral tones of the standard room will transport you away on a breeze of island bliss. The standard room can accommodate up to three guests with the space to include the third on an additional single bed.

The standard rooms also come with: air conditioning, fridge, fan, private bathroom with toiletries, TV, outdoor furniture, desk and a wake-up service.

Lagoon View Room

The lagoon view rooms can also be found on the first floor of the hotel’s main building and offer a soothing space to relax and enjoy the gorgeous hotel grounds all the way to the lagoon. The bathrooms in the lagoon rooms have been recently renovated for guest comfort and the rooms can accommodate two people only.

The lagoon room boasts: a double bed, private bathroom stocked with toiletries and a bathrobe, air conditioning, tea and coffee making facilities, fan, fridge, desk, TV, balcony with outdoor furniture and a wake-up service.

Double Bungalow

Located amongst the exotic flowers and plants in the hotel gardens you can stay in their double bungalow. Each bungalow has been decorated in cool colours and tropical details for a fresh and welcoming atmosphere. The double bungalow also comes with a separate living and dining space so you feel at home away from home.

The bungalows also come with: a big double bed, balcony with outdoor furniture, a private bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities, air conditioning, fan, fridge, sofa, TV and a wake-up service.

Family Bungalow

The family bungalow is the most spacious type of accommodation available at Raiatea Lodge Hotel. The bungalow contains two bedrooms, a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, to accommodate four guests. The vibrant colours and stunning setting of the family bungalows will please any requirements and the size of the bungalow ensures everybody is happy.

The bungalows also offer: a private bathroom with toiletries and a bathrobe, air conditioning, fan, tea and coffee making facilities, fridge, dining area, living space with a sofa bed, TV, and a fully furnished terrace.

Le Blue Beach Lodge

Raiatea Lodge Hotel offers guests a relaxed restaurant experience boasting gourmet cuisine cooked with Polynesian love. The restaurant is proud to create mouth-watering dishes that will set your tastebuds alight. Expect to find exotic dishes such as mahi mahi, lobster, tuna, parrots and marlins on the dinner menu as well as tender red meats from New Zealand.

For guests staying at Raiatea Lodge Hotel, breakfast is a meal not to be missed. The homemade pastries fill the morning air with a sweet smell and the local fruit bids you a colourful good morning. In addition to the breakfast and dinner menus, the lodge also offers a lunchtime snack menu that combines the elegance of the evening meals with the simplicity of lunchtime.
