Lara Beya has been received Tourism Gold Standard Hotel approval by the Belize government. Guests can expect sense of peace and security knowing that every criteria has been met, especially during Covid-19. From re-arranging public areas to ensure social distancing protocols and mandating face masks (masks do not have to be worn while swimming, eating and drinking) to a reassuring list of precautions now in place that make low touch registration possible, guests can count on low touch check-in/out and automated booking systems. From guest pick up and drop off services at the Placencia airport to access to the resort’s restaurant, pool and beachfront, new routines and practices now impact every level of resort life.
Each of the Ocean View Rooms open up to a private balcony with a partial view of the turquoise Caribbean Sea where you can relax in a lounge chair or fall asleep in your hammock to the gentle sound of the waves lapping on the beach. These Standard Ocean View Rooms are steps away from the white-sand beach and offer partial views of the ocean. In addition this room have either a king or queen bed, private balcony and bathroom with a walk-in shower.
The sun filled One Bedroom Suites provide plenty of space for relaxation and feature stunning oceanfront views just steps away from the beach. The master bedroom is equipped with a king-sized bed, full private bath, and elegant interiors complete with mahogany wood and handcrafted furnishing. There is also the added space with a separate living & dining room as well as a fully equipped kitchen. Large glass doors surrounding both the master bedroom and open concept living room open up to reveal an oversized private balcony that directly faces the Caribbean Sea.

The Two Bedroom Suites feature a master bedroom with a king-sized bed and a second bedroom with a queen and single bed OR a queen bed with a futon in the living room. Centred between both bedrooms lay an open concept living room, fully equipped kitchen and a large balcony with a direct view of the Caribbean Sea and just steps from our Belize beach.
