Your journey will start as soon as you arrive. After arriving at the international airport, an internal flight will take you over the island, during which you can enjoy spectacular views of the region.
Then, once you are settled, you may begin taking in the adventure of the region. There are a number of activities you’ll take in during your 5-day stay. Snorkeling in Hol Chan & Shark Ray Alley is a favourite of many who visit, and it will give you an opportunity to explore the second longest barrier reef in the world. Then, during your day at leisure, you may simply wish to sit by the beach and soak up the sun. When its time to head home, you will take an internal flight and then arrive at the hotel in time for your flight home.
Welcome to Belize! After a very short transfer in the International airport to a domestic flight you will have an incredible birds eye view of the islands and reef as you take the 18-minute flight to San Pedro on Ambergris Caye. The town made famous in the song by Madonna “I left my heart in San Pedro.” You will be met at the local airstrip for a golf cart/ taxi ride to your hotel. There are numerous local restaurants to choose from for a beachside dinner.
During your time at Ambergris Caye, on your first day, you will be snorkeling on the second longest barrier in the world on two prime sites in the protected Hol Chan National Marine Park. In the park you will snorkel the world famous Shark Ray Alley site and as the name implies, you will be snorkeling with harmless nurse sharks, southern stingrays, and a colourful array of marine life including turtles. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore down town or chill on the beach.
The next two days are yours at leisure, but perhaps you will go fishing on the barrier reef or
deep-sea fishing, diving, snorkeling, kayaking or just relax on the beach. Your resort tour desk can assist in arranging any of these or additional touring options.
After breakfast, a short golf cart transfer to the local airstrip for the 18-minute flight to International Airport to take your flight home.
