Villa Maly was once the home of Lao royalty and nobility, its original splendour derived from the 1920’s and evokes a sense of the French past. The hotel’s “Art Deco” style is prevalent throughout with an original blend of French and British colonial furnishings. The Villa Maly offers two main room types to house guests; the Superior Rooms and the Deluxe Rooms. Both the Superior and Deluxe Rooms are beautifully designed, with wooden floors and four-poster beds. With a lovely garden view and seating area, guests can relax in comfort whilst residing at the Villa Maly.

The Le Vetiver Restaurant has classic wooden decking, and is adorned with rose-wood furniture. Serving a range of Laotian and international cuisines, guests are sure to find something that will make their tastebuds tingle. Activities and Experiences Overview

Ideally located near to the Mekong River, there are a wide range of boat excursions available to explore the Pak Ou Caves, along with Temples and the famous Kuang Si Waterfall. The capital of Luang Prabang is only a short journey away via tuk tuk or taxi but if you really want to experience the country, hire a bicycle and make your own adventure route. Alternatively, the Royal Palace National Museum is not too far from the Villa Maly, and this is the perfect place to explore the history of the French Colonial era in Laos. Whatever you like to do, the Villa Maly at Luang Prabang, has something for everyone.
