Rooms at the Weskar Lodge come in three categories, all of which have an occupancy of two adults. There is the Basic Room, Basic Room with Fjord View, and Superior Room with Fjord View. All rooms come with amenities and are equipped to provide you with an enjoyable stay.
Onsite, there is an exquisite dining option in the Enoo Restaurant. Here, guests can enjoy delicious meals cooked with local produce and alongside regional wines and beers.
Enoo Restaurant at Weska Lodge offers authentic patagonian dishes, Chilean wines, regional beers and homemade pisco sour, with a gorgeous view of Ultima Esperanza Fjord. The main produce that enoo restaurant uses in its dishes are magellan lamb, fish, seafood and vegetables which are all locally sourced and organic. Between the seasons of May and August, the restaurant offers a home-made menu, specially prepared for those travellers who visit in the colder time of the year. Also, for excursions the restaurant offers Box lunches, however, prices of these can be checked at the lodge’s front desk.
There is plenty to do while you stay at the Weskar Lodge. The lodge recommends a number of unique, special tours including day tours of Torres del Paine, bike tours of the city of Puerto Natales, and horseback riding.
- Reusing organic waste residues – Food production and the waste from the restaurant are daily given to local horticulturists, who use them to feed their animals or produce compost with it
- Cleaning products and room amenities are free of contaminating chemicals. The napkins in the restaurant are biodegradable. The lodge has also got 3 wastewater treatment plants, and the lodge encourage the controlled use of water in the rooms
- Energy – 95% of the lodge’s lightning is produced by energy-efficient light bulbs and the lodge is currently working on setting up solar energy production to be used as emergency lightning system and the room windows have double glazing to avoid heat/energy loss
