Overlooking the glorious Sanur beachfront, the Wantilan Restaurant provides a tropical dining experience across its well rounded menu, featuring local, Indonesian and international cuisine. The Wantilans open-plan design creates a welcoming environment for a hearty breakfast or afternoon tea in the suns warming rays. Themed dinners are available in the restaurant with Satay Nusantara Night every Monday which features skewers of premium meats and seafood, an Indonesian Buffet Dinner every Wednesday and a Beach BBQ Dinner every Friday.
Explore the charming Starfish Beach Lounge, a breezy seaside terrace offering a simple menu offering Bistro cuisine for guests to indulge on. Cushioned sofas and table settings are available for guests to relax on in the light and airy atmosphere of the lounge to enjoy international and local cuisine, prepared with freshly sourced ingredients. There are themed dinner hosted a few times during the week with a DJ session every Sunday.
Complimentary with the resort, guests can visit the Santrian Art Gallery to observe the local creativity, tradition and culture within the fine art displayed. This venue is place for talented artists and rising stars who will have the opportunity to exhibit their work and is also available to host small-scale meetings, events and social gatherings. This visit is included in an exclusive all day package available to a minimum of 30 people which includes coffee breaks and the choice to have lunch or dinner.
Guests can also participate in a cooking class which starts with a bike ride to the nearby Sindhu market where you can purchase fresh produce. A chef will guide you in preparing a delicious meal as you develop skills to cook tasty Indonesian food in your own time for friends and family to enjoy. The cooking class is available in the Spa Garden or the Starfish Beach Lounge upon request and includes lunch, an apron, certificate and a recipe booklet.
Adventure on an excursion early in the morning on a bike ride around Sanur as you soak in the sights and sounds that surround you. A guide will be accompanying you on the journey as you venture along a beach path to discover the island slowly coming to life and then you will visit a traditional Balinese home as well as the temple compound of a high-caste family. You will have the opportunity to take stunning photographs at stops along the way to see the culture such as the fishing boats on the Sanur shore, a community-based turtle hatchery and a local marketplace where you can purchase Balinese snacks.
Complimentary for in-house guests, venture out into the waters on a first come, first served basis as you kayak among the waves. Glide across the coral protected waters in the calm sea with scenic underwater views which provide the perfect conditions for kayaking and spotting marine life along the way.
