The Temple House is an integral component of the Chengdu Daci Temple Cultural and Commercial Complex comprising of six historic buildings. To evoke a sense of history, the Temple House is located in one of six historic buildings. Guests enter The Temple House via a beautifully-restored Qing Dynasty heritage building called “Bitieshi” at the corner of the site.

Within the hotel stand the Mi Xun Spa on the site of a former mulberry garden of the Daci Temple, and is housed within a heritage building that dates back to the early years of the formation of the Republic. Dine at the all-day bistro to indulge in seasonal, local, and international dishes served from an a la carte menu. Guests can order from the menu at breakfast, lunch, and dinner where you can choose from a variety of fresh dishes prepared with herbs and vegetables from the House Garden. Enjoy meals like avocado and chicken salad, beef curry, temple special pho, a variety of soups, sandwiches, eggs Benedict and much more. There is also a grab-and-go counter offering guests house-made pastries, sandwiches, coffee and juices.
Dine at the Tivano restaurant to taste Italian and Mediterranean delectable dishes prepared with Italy’s tomatoes, truffles, meats, and olive oils. Guests can choose to eat their meals out on the terrace in the breezy garden, or inside the art-deco inspired restaurant beside the wood-fired pizza oven. Order dishes from the a la carte menu such as white snow salad, sichuan pepperoni pizza, minestrone soup, truffled chicken, lasagne alla bolognese, vanilla panna cotta, and much more.
Guests can sip on cocktails in this speakeasy and drinking den, inspired by the retro-glamour of the 1920s prohibition era. Order from a wide variety of creative cocktails from behind the bar as mixologists will blend exotic ingredients to make your drink. Only distilled and triple filtered water is used at this bar to make the ice cubes and the bartenders chip and carve each ice block by hand. Some of the cocktails that are available to order are Chien, Bee’s Knee, East India, Gold Rush, Widow’s Kiss, Penicillin, Scoff Law and much more.
For those who enjoy curated teas and plant-based Sichuan cuisine, the Mi Xun Teahouse is the perfect place. Offering vegetarian and Chinese cuisines, guests can enjoy fine Chinese teas in a traditional Qing Dynasty home and courtyard. The menu is inspired by the dishes that were served at the 1000 year old Daci Monastery near the teahouse, where there are 44 different types of tea on offer. Guests can order food and types of tea from the a la carte menu which includes dim sums, light bites, soups, glutinous rice ball filled with spring tea, eggplant stuffed with chopped chillies, and much more.
Chunxi Road is located in Jinjiang District, covering a total area of 200 000 square metres which stretches from the east of Beixin Street, the west of Hongxing Road, the south of Zongfu Road, and the north of East Street. There are a group of bronze statues at the north end of the road that visitors can see, one of which is an old man dressed in traditional Chinese garments and the other is a modern lady in fashionable clothes. Along the road is a granite-built wall in which there has been relief sculptures carved into that presents eight scenes of Chengdu in the Tang Dynasty: these include, a temple fair, a flower fair, the Lantern Festival, planting hibiscus, picking mulberry leaves, rinsing brocade, weaving brocade, and brewing alcohol.
Tianfu Square is located in the city centre and is the largest city square in southwest China. The square is encircled by skyscrapers and is the busiest area in the Commercial and Business District. There are two city metro lines that meet here that makes the square a transfer stop and a gathering place for visitors who can walk around the square lined with trees and flowers, and explore the site as it is an open leisure place for people to relax in whilst appreciating the modern development of Chengdu. There are also many attractions and shopping malls around the square that are open to the public where they can rest or spend the day shopping and witness the music fountain show during the evening with colourful neon lights.
Located in the Sichuan Province, the Wenshu Monastery is the best preserved Buddhist temple in Chengdu and is the home of the Buddhist Association of Sichuan Province and Chengdu City. Visitors can observe the cultural relics within the monastery and the paintings and pieces of calligraphy by celebrities of which there are over 500 and have been stored at the monastery. Many famous handwriting exhibits, paintings, and artworks can be found in the Sutra-Preservation Pavilion which were created by renowned Chinese painters and calligraphers like Zhang Daqian, Zheng Banqiao and Feng Zikai. Visitors can also observe a jade Buddha statue that was brought from Burma to China in 1922 as well as other 300 Buddha statues made from iron, bronze, stone, wood, jade and some of which have been painted.
