Relais Fenua is included within the Puna’auia region on the west coast of Tahiti and is accessed via the island’s main road. The guesthouse is a short walk away from both the locally popular Vaiava beach and Mahana Park. Vaiava beach boasts beautiful golden sand and the perfect place to sunbathe with cool shallow water lapping at the shore whilst Mahana Park is a charming beach-side park beloved by families and snorkelling enthusiasts.
For cultural enthusiasts Relais Fenua is a short drive from the Museum of Tahiti and The Islands where visitors can enjoy the Polynesian artefacts on display. For guests staying who don’t have a car, limited rental options are available upon enquiry at the guesthouse reception.

Reception at Relais Fenua is open every day from 7am – 3pm and then 5pm – 8pm for guests to check in/out or if there are any other requirements during your stay. Options for car rentals, dinner orders and activities are also available through reception, don’t hesitate to ask.
The guest house is very welcoming to families with specially designed rooms to ensure everybody is comfortable and with free parking and wifi across the grounds, Relais Fenua is a perfect base for your Polynesian adventure.
This light and inviting room provide you with the perfect space to relax indoors or outside under the warm sun. The neutral decor and tropical flora that surround these rooms instil a peaceful atmosphere and the wooden furniture immerse you in Polynesian life.
The facilities available in the standard rooms include: a double bed, ground floor accommodation options, storage, air conditioning, fan, fridge, TV, outdoor patio and private bathroom stocked with toiletries and towels for the duration of your stay.
Similar to the standard double, a triple room at Relais Fenua can accommodate an additional single bed for larger travel groups of three people. The triple room at Relais Fenua also comes with ground floor options to ensure that all guests have access to these comfortable rooms.
The triple rooms also come with: storage, air conditioning, fan, fridge, TV, private bathroom stocked with toiletries and towels for the duration of your stay and a private patio.
The largest of the three standard rooms on offer, a studio room provides the additional feature of a kitchenette for guests wishing to cook during their time in Tahiti. The kitchenette is fully stocked with a fridge, microwave, coffee machine, electric kettle, stovetop and cooking utensils.
The studio rooms also come with the following facilities: double bed, ground floor alternatives, storage, air conditioning, additional linen, fan, TV, private patio and a private bathroom.
Perfect for families on a Tahiti adventure, the family studio at Relais Fenua comes equipped with everything you could need to ensure comfort and relaxation. Your family studio includes comfy bunk beds for the younger members and a soft double as well as a kitchen area for any cooking you wish to try during your stay.
The family rooms also come with: ground floor options, plenty of storage, air conditioning, fan, TV, outdoor space and a private bathroom. In the kitchen you will be supplied with a fridge, microwave, coffee machine, electric kettle, stovetop and cooking utensils.
Relais Fenua offers on-site food and drink, priding themselves on using local produce where possible. The restaurant is open from 6pm – 8pm and dinner requests will need to be made in advance on the morning of the day you wish to dine.
The bar housed at the guesthouse sets a leisurely pace for an evening of amusements from darts to quiet reading. The bar is open 6pm – 8pm and offers soft drinks alongside a small selection of cocktails and light bar snacks.
Relais Fenua work with many of the local activity companies on Tahiti and are pleased to offer guests a diverse range of adventures that can be booked through the guesthouse. Companies that Relais Fenua work with are Tahiti Iti Tour & Surf, Eleuthera Plongée and Moby Dick Tahiti.
